You may not create more than one account of each type. You may only create one (1) First Year account and one (1) Transfer account since the system will not allow duplicate accounts.
What happens if you remove a college from Common App after applying
If you want to remove a school from your list, you can do so by clicking on the X icon on the school name line on the Dashboard. However, once you have submitted an application to a school, you will not be able to remove it from your list. If you need to, you can re-add any school you have removed by searching for and adding the school again.

To do this, search for the student in the Control Center and then click the extend deadline button. You can also search for students who paid but did not submit.

You won’t need to re-enter your personal information for every application, and you won’t need to write separate essays, either. So go ahead and use that essay you wrote for your first choice school and save yourself some time in the college application process!
The Common App will specify the word limit for writing your essay. This has changed over the years. The current word count is between 250 and 650 words. The online application won’t accept essays that are below 250 words or over 650 words.
