It’s a common question: can you edit an Evite after sending it out? The answer is yes, you can! Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Unfortunately, you cannot edit an evite after you have already sent it out.
Can you edit an Evite invitation after sending?
If you need to make changes to your design or invitation details, just head over to your account’s Dashboard and click the green Manage Invitation button for your event.
If you need to edit an invitation that you’ve already sent out, follow the steps below:
Log into your Evite account.
Click on your name/photo in the top right corner.
Select “My Events” from the dropdown menu.
Click “More” beside the invitation that you’d like to edit.
Choose “Edit Details” from the dropdown menu.
You’ll now be able to make changes to your invitation. Once you’re finished, click “Save” and your changes will be reflected on the invitation.
Can you edit an Evite after purchase
If you need to add more people to your guest list, you can do so by using the “Invite More” button. This will allow you to add more guests and then choose a package that accommodates your new guest count.
If you need to add more guests to your event, simply click “More” next to your event invitation on the home page. Then click “Add Guests” and enter the necessary information. If you do not have any remaining invitation sends available, the site will prompt you to purchase a new package.
Can you edit guests on Evite?
You can view the invitation by tapping on “Manage Guests” and locating and tapping on the three dots next to the guest. You can then select “Edit Contact” to update their RSVP and/or guest count.
If you need to cancel your invitation, simply log in to your account and hover over “More” next to the invitation. Click “Cancel Event” in the dropdown and you will be given a “Message” box to notify your guests of the cancelation.
Can you change an Evite?
If you’ve already sent in your RSVP but have had a change of plans, you can easily go back to the invitation via your email and select “Change Reply” under the “RSVP” tab.
If you’re the kind of person who checks their email every three seconds, you can easily find out who’s opened an Evite by clicking on the link. So, give yourself some time before checking it if you don’t want everyone to know you’re obsessed with your inbox!
Can Evite Host see who viewed
Viewing an invitation allows the person to know when it was viewed and for how long. This is useful for people who want to keep track of their guests and ensure that they are all viewing the invitation. Additionally, it helps to identify any potential issues that may have arisen since the last time the invitation was viewed.

How far in advance should you send an Evite?

If you have any out-of-town guests, make sure to give them a heads-up six weeks out. This will give them plenty of time to make travel plans.

However, your guests will still have the invitation email they received when they were added to the event. When they click on “View Invitation,” they will be informed that the event has been canceled.

How do I add guests to an existing Evite
Assuming you would like instructions on how to add guests to an Evite:
1. Log into your Evite account.
2. Click on your name or photo in the top right corner and select “My Events”.
3. Click “More” beside your invitation and choose “Add Guests”.
4. Enter your guests’ email addresses or mobile numbers in the text box provided, then click the green “Finish & Send” button.
If you want to allow guests to bring additional people to your event, you can click the “Allow guests to bring people to the event” check box and then use the drop down to select the maximum amount of additional people each guest can bring. This will allow guests to RSVP with more than 1 in their party. We do not offer the ability to set individual limits per guest.
How do I resend an Evite to one guest?
Assuming you have already logged in to your Evite account:
To resend your invitation or send a message to your guests, click on your name on the top right corner, select “My Events,” locate the invitation on the dashboard, click on the “More” button, select “Manage Invitation,” and click “Message Guests” below your event title.
You may have noticed that your guest will not be notified when you remove them from the guest list. Although a copy of the invitation was already sent to your guest, they will still have the invitation email in their inbox. However, this message will appear if they try to access your invitation: “Your invitation has been revoked by the event owner.”
What does deleting a guest on Evite do
If you are using a Premium invitation, and the invitation was sent successfully, it will be deducted from your purchase. When a removed guest tries to access the invitation, they will see a notice that they have been removed from the guest list and are no longer able to view its contents.
Co-hosting an event can be a great way to divide the work and make sure everything goes smoothly. It’s important to remember that you can only have one co-host per event, so choose someone you trust to help out. With a co-host, you can easily invite more guests, send messages, and manage the invitation.
