Yes, you are right. if you will not make do follow attribute your blog then no one comment on your blog post and you will not get maximum traffic to your blog.

Do-follow can help improve page rank, but this will also allure a lot of people who’ll write irrelevant comments only to get linked. I have to admit that i hate comments, such as: you are right, great post…etc

I have to agree with Dylan. While do-follow will attract lots of commenters, a larger portion will end up being spammers or people who post just to get linked. no-follow might not be as attractive to posters, but would to rather get a few quality posts from people who actually have something to say or hundreds of irrelevant posts?

I’m rather disappointed with the fact that there are very few do-follow blogs in the Internet. i think that being do-follow is just one more bonus for a qualitative blog.

If you want your blog to be popular, you have to be willing to “give” to be able to “receive” something in return. If you provide dofollow links for people who visit your site and leave a comment, they will get a backlink from you and in return your site will be more popular and more bloggers will visit your site.

To my mind bloggers don’t like to make their blogs do-follow because they are afraid of spam. But spam can be prevented from posting through moderation – this is a way out.

I agree totally. If you have a blog and don’t make it able to take do follows, then you will never get the needed amount of traffic for your blog.

It would be so good to have blog giving dofollow links. But most bloggers are just too wary about losing link juice because of too much spammers on their comment sections. It sucks but that’s reality.
