I am trying to promote my wife’s blog and I will definitely try this idea. I am currently using tweeter to promote her blog my increasing her followers (@kuting22).

Thanks for these tips. Definitely it is important to regularly update you blog content, not only to prevent Digg in tagging you as a spammer but also to keep your readers’ interest in your blog.

What an excellent and timely idea! f you wish to use Digg for the promotion of your blog, you should be active in Digg. This will increase your chances of getting noticed and then attracting more Diggs from other users. You can submit different posts, like any breaking news – keep on adding friends, post comments and also add an Avatar. When you add an avatar it helps your profile to stand apart from several other profiles which are there in Digg and make it more visible. The more active you become in the website, the more opportunities you will have with Digg to promote your blog.

nice tips, but it’s hard to be active on digg. i mean, i only use digg and other social bookmarking sites to promote my blogs and that’s all. i don’t have time to be an active user, like reading what other post, comment and chat with them…
