I always delete the spammy messages which are irreleant to the content or filter them as spams. However, putting URL or link into the body comment is very risky. I set zero link in the comment body and any links identified will be filtered as spams and it need moderated even one month later if I am busy.
Anyway, add value to the comment is the best strategy, not only to draw attention of the author but also building trust with other commentators. T

Well whenever I am commenting on blog I certainly read the post and comment according to the post that causes my post not to be deleted as spam

Yes. That’s way almost blogger doing to avoid delete comment with reason : Spam. But a part of people only try to spam comment and don’t know what they will get after do it.

The main purposeof writing comments for me is to exprss my point of view on the problem. I think the best comment is the comment which tells some new information on the problem or a different unique point of view.
