A great little trick. It’s always difficult to know when links that you’ve gotten actually go live and this is a nice way to get notified. Thanks for the info.

I’ve also always found it difficult once I’ve paid for links (or exchanged links) to monitor if the links are still live months after I’ve paid for them. Those with similar challenges may find a tool that I created useful. You can find the free tool at wwwbacklinkreporter.com. It tracks all of your backlinks (and their status) for you. You only have to provide a link to use the tool for free.

Very ggood and meaningful info buddy! I Found It’s an optional service that can be activated in the cell phone version of google maps.

It will only work if the people you want to track are using google maps and keep the tracking service activated.

I have been using yahoo site explorer for tracking my incoming links and its pain to keep the list updated because the listings are random and not organized. It changes every week. This tip seems to be cool. As soon as I receive an alert I have to copy the location and store it in a spreadsheet with date and relevant comments like anchor text and so. Thanks for your brilliance.
